    The student Union government (SUG)  of the federal polytechnic, Auchi,  conducted their election on Saturday 10th of August 2019 .        The election which took place which took place in area one in all departments started at 08:00am as all the position were voted once. Most of the student who weren't able to vote for their aspirants were as a result of them not having the school Identity card.      All aspirants were filled with hopes of winning and not loosing to their opponents as both candidate and supporters were on cold feet. Sadness filled the community of Aviele following the fight that broke out yesterday night around 8:30pm to 9:30pm between an indigenous young man of Ubiane and the other from Aviele community of Etsako West Local Government of Edo State which lead to the death of one of them, a report got to us that the incident happened not quiet long after  the demised received certificate of freedom, having it in mind to become "self-boss". The Nigeria Police were informed and the community of the demised were pleaded with to control their anger as several investigation will be carried out to know the source of the fight.

Auchi Polytechnic Higher National Diploma Form Now on Sales. John Ogbeuire Report got to us on Sunday 1st June around 10:27pm that Auchi Polytechnic released Higher National Diploma applicant form for 2019/2020 academic session. Interested applicant's should note that the form will be available for N15,000 from Monday 3rd June 2019 to 30th June, 2019. The school management also created on awareness on social media l advising applicant's to beware of fraudsters, claiming to be school officers and in positions to help by collecting money from applicants. Also, the school management promised to release to sale of form for National Diploma as soon as possible and advised prospective applicant's to prepare their requirements including; O'Level Certificate, Jamb Result, Birth Certificate, Certificate or Origin.

John Ogbeuire After the academic board meeting held on Tuesday 4th to Thursday 6th June 2019 for consideration of 2018/2019 session for first semester, the management thereby releases few departments result online. Following the investigation gathered on Friday 7th June and Saturday 8th June only students in National Diploma level 1 were privileged to check their results online as the finalist were complaining about the website showing error. Following this issue, the management thereby pleaded with the regular students that there will be rectification and all the departments result will be uploaded and accessible latest Monday 10th of June 2019.

Following the recent developments in Anglican Student Fellowship (ASF) Auchi, the President in an interview with our correspondent disclosed that there is no success without challenges, pointing the delay experienced in getting the budgeted materials. The regular programme of the Polytechnic have commenced her lectures following the school calendar, recalling that the regular programme completed her first semester examination on the 3rd May 2019. Quite imperative to state that, "time-table" for all departments is active after a week holiday as lectures shall commence fully on the 20th Monday, May 2019.
